Who We Are

Rutherford Wine Vault is the product of more than a century of combined wine making and storing experience. Instead of building a large concrete facility out in the middle of nowhere to store wine in steel and plastic boxes we chose a picturesque location and a historic 110 year old building to create a wine storage facility befitting Napa Valley and the special wine collections stored here.

The difference between us and our competition is obvious. From the moment you enter the gate you pass through a quarter-mile long driveway lined on both sides with olive trees and vineyards. The driveway is so long that both sides seem to merge in the distance.

As you reach the end of the driveway you come upon our storage facility.

Hundreds of hours of restoration work have brought this century old building back to life and with a renewed purpose - to provide the best wine storage facility for wine collectors in the greater San Francisco area.
